Announcements for the week of March 17-21

 

There will be a Spanish Club meeting at 7:00am in room 208 on Friday, March 21st. 

 

The next FCA meeting will be tomorrow morning, Wednesday 3/19 in room 114. We will meet from 7-7:30am. See Mr. Snyder or Mr. Hodgkinson if you have any questions. Repeat - the next FCA meeting is tomorrow morning. Hope to see you there. 

 

"Attention French Club Members:  Our March meeting will be tomorrow (Friday) after school in room 206.  Please sign up if you are planning to attend.  It will also be the last day to bring your T-shirt money.  If you cannot make the meeting Friday, you can still get a T-shirt.  Stop in room 206 today or tomorrow to pay for it.  Again, our March meeting is Friday in room 206.  A bientot!"

 

Attention Panthers!

Get ready for the Panther Olympics—the ultimate battle of the grades! Freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors will compete for the championship title in an action-packed assembly you won’t want to miss on Tuesday, March 25th!

This is more than just bragging rights—it’s a fundraiser for the National Honor Society, with all proceeds going toward a scholarship. It’s just $1 to attend or participate!

Want in? Freshmen & sophomores, sign up with Señora Miller. Juniors & seniors, sign up with Mrs. Fassnacht .

**Tickets will be sold before school on Monday and Tuesday, during lunch periods, and at the door.

Students - Are you looking for a new job? Good news! Whitehouse Chicken in Green is hiring! The starting pay is $11 an hour during training. After training is completed, you will receive a raise! The more you are willing to learn, the more Whitehouse is willing to pay you! Hours will be around 10-15 hours per week, so you can expect to work 2-3 days each week.

Senior students of the month are nominated by the National Honor Society and voted on by MHS faculty. Congratulations to the March students of the month:

 

                                                                ELLAH CRADDOCK AND EVAN KUSMITS

 

Ellah is involved in NHS, Key Club, French Club, Art Club, and FCA. She played soccer for 3 years in high school and volleyball for 1 year. Outside of school, she likes to hang out with friends and go to bible study. After high school, she plans on attending the University of Mount Union and majoring in mathematics.

 

Evan is a hardworking student attending MHS and Stark State College. He is involved in NHS and FCA. In sports, he is a 4-year varsity football, wrestling, and track athlete. In wrestling, he is a 4-year state qualifier and placed 8th in the state last year. In his free time, he likes to play video games and build LEGOs with his twin brother. Over the summer he works at E.L. Stone where he does lawn care. He has taken 6 CCP classes, to get an early start on his education after high school. After high school, he plans to study civil engineering at either Ohio University or Akron University with his brother.
