Welcome to Manchester High School, where excellence is a tradition and student success is our top priority. I am proud to lead a school community that values high achievement and preparation for life beyond graduation.
We offer a strong academic foundation through rigorous coursework, including Advanced Placement classes and College Credit Plus options, alongside a wide range of engaging electives. Our college prep programs are designed to support every student on their unique path, whether that leads to enrollment in higher education, employment in a chosen field, or enlistment in military service—the "Three E’s" that guide our mission.
Our students benefit from a rich selection of programs in the arts, including music, theater, and visual arts, which allow them to explore their creativity and showcase their talents. We believe in developing the whole student, and we’re proud that over 80% of our students participate in extracurricular activities, ranging from athletics and clubs to service and leadership organizations.
Through our strong partnership with Portage Lakes Career Center, students gain access to hands-on career and technical education opportunities that prepare them for high-demand fields. In addition, a variety of school-based programs expose students to real-world careers through guest speakers, Career Based Intervention, and expanding course offerings—giving them the knowledge and experience to make informed decisions about their futures.
